Vice President of Uganda Edward K. Ssekandi and his party on Nov 11 visited Lifan Group in Chongqing, China, and met with Victor Sun, Executive Deputy General Manager of Lifan Motors, who had a friendly exchange of views on issues of common interest.
Victor Sun first conveyed sincere greetings to Vice President Ssekandi at the meeting and shared with the guests a brief introduction to Lifan’s development during the past 24 years. He expected to further deepen the understanding between the two sides and develop mutual cooperation in petroleum fuel vehicles, new-energy automobiles, motorcycles and other fields. Lifan is willing to make a contribution to Uganda’s development through cooperative construction projects, noted Victor Sun.
Vice President Ssekandi thanked Lifan for the warm reception and appreciated China’s consistently strong support in Uganda’s economic construction. He hoped to promote rapid economic development in Uganda through cooperation with Lifan and other top Chinese enterprises to achieve a win-win situation.
Before meeting, Vice President Ssekandi paid a visit to Lifan auto plants, motorcycle manufacturing base, engine workshop, R&D center and the showroom.
